Life is too mainstream
try something out of the mainstream
may lead you to different experiences
this autumn mid-semester break
Me and friend decide to go for a road trip
starting on Brisbane -- Melbourne (about 2000++km)
Day 1-Brisbane
one thing that I would like to mention about this city is
the expenses for the public transportation is kinda high!!!!!!
after getting off from Virgin
ps: the seats of virgin is comfortable than others airlines that I took before....
first stop at XXXX brewery
every visit provide 4 drinks of beer with your "beer passport" |
a place with Brisbane city view on top of mountain
is a simple place to calm down over a stress environment
but don't forget to catch the last bus to get back to city at 4.15pm
day view of city |
Frankly speaking... I not really like the city of Brisbane
is too complicated
people there are not really friendly
most of them show black face walking along the street
night view of Brisbane CBD |
Day 2 - Brisbane -- Byron Bay -- Coffs harbour
Today we get our vehicles of journey
is something like a lorry
but with kitchen, bed and toilet
can also known as mobile home (photo attached below)
Coff Harbour holiday park |
we didn't visit much places
just stop over at some little town for a break
ps: highway in Australia are not like what we had in Malaysia
there is no street light
and is difficult to drive at night specially on the road from Byron bay to Coffs Harbour
i would say it is a small road rather than a highway
Day 3- Coffs Harbour --> Newcastle --> Sydney
wake up in the early morning
cause is too cold in the car with a small blanket
is good to bring warmer clothing when travel in cold weather
cold weather during night time will mess up your day
Here we go continue or journey
We aims to travel 600km
Is autumn now
day is shorter than summer
yet shop close early
so we decide to stop over at Newcastle for a break
The open ocean "pool" was cool
don't forget to bring your swim wear if you have a chance to visit there
there is also some historical places to visit around Newcastle
Try out the pie
sort of special topping and is yummy
On the night of the day
we stop over at Sydney to recharge ourselves
Day 4 -Sydney -- Kangaroo valley -- Albury
Along the road from Sydney to Albury
is good to stop over at Kangaroo valley
although you need another 30km driving
but is worth to do so......
Have deep breath toward the country life
bring your own food there
and find a suitable place
chills with friends or family
you can also try the ordinary duck sausages
at Bistro One46
ops! forgot to list down where we stop over
at Albury citygate holiday park
is a bit scary and quite during the night
due to the green and dim yellow light setting
but overall is not bad
